May 25, 2008 was indeed a great day at East Mansions Townhomes in San Joaquin, Pasig city. Cute little kids as well as some bigger ones enjoyed their LTS 08 graduation at the EMTH pool area. After going through a rigorous, sometimes tears-filled but nonetheless fun-filled Learn-to-Swim program, these kids demonstrated "various swimming skills which they developed by learning the values of hardwork, perseverance and dedication" as described by EMTH Homeowners Association president, Mr. Franz Joseph Geronimo.
Ms. Shirley Songco, the chairman of the Swimming committee at EMTH favors the introduction of sports to kids at an early age for they are "often happier, healthier, friendlier and more confident." She also added that "they would also grow up to be positively competitive, socially responsible and healthy adults."
The teamwork between the swimming committee members and all the IASCO staff headed by Lolo Coach Efren C. Jocson was so evident int the outcome of graduation program. The timing was perfect for God provided us with a very fine weather that day (PRAISE GOD!!!), the food was great - many thanks to those who contributed, made time to prepare or cooked. The sound system was even excellent - program manager Mr. Jaime Jay Sia Jr. brought in his newly acquired Videoke System.
Ultimately, this huge success of the IASCO LTS 08 program at the East Mansions Townhomes will mean nothing if our kids will not nurture what they have learned this summer. But the parents and guardians alike must never stop supporting and motivating our kids into sports particularly swimming and make them livelier, healthier and more intellectually alert.
Congratulations Swimmers! Congratulations Parents! Congratulations IASCO!
